His own hometown rejected Him (Luke 4:28-29), and even His disciples scattered. Yet He did not let their rejection define His mission. The pain of exclusion does not cancel your calling, it qualifies you to walk with the Rejected One. I was off the chain, I was often drained I was off the meds, I was called insane What a awesome thing, engulfed in shame And you were dead in your transgressions and sins… But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.
